I've recorded at one time an album way back in the 80's from the radio, on audio cassette, there were no CD's back then. I didn't know who was this great honky-tonker I was listening to, let alone that he was from Sweden. I knew his name was Red Jenkins and thought he was an American. It's the album with "I've got a little bit of Texas in my life", "Lonestar lonesome tonight" songs.
This is pure country, the core of it! It's how country music should sound, not like today, beautiful faces with no voice or personality what-so-ever. There won't be another Hank, Merle or George (or Red).
I love this old-style honkytonk.
Keep it country!"
